The Communication Program at Hawaii Pacific University will begin offering Masters of Arts degree in Communication in the Fall semester of 1998. The rapid expansion of the communication industry through mass media, the Internet, and the telecommunications industry has created a need for such a degree both in the student population annd in the employment marketplace. For the past several years the communication field has been one of the fastest growing industriews in the world. Students with MA-Communication are particularly attractive in foreign countries where similar degrees are not available.
